As a Call Center Agent, you may join our team in our aim to keep patients and families at the center of all we do. The St. Michael’s Hospital (SMH) Call Center operates around the clock, responding to both internal and external callers’ inquiries. In order to directly contribute to the professional and favorable image of the Hospital, the Call Center Agent is accountable for handling internal and external phone calls, patient questions, and emergency calls properly and efficiently. In order to provide a switchboard and locate coverage around the clock, the call center agent must be willing to work irregular hours as well as early and late shifts.

Job Overview:


  • All Candidates should have Experienced in their relevant fields.
  • All Candidates have familiarity and knowledge of the Hospital’s services and staff, enabling them to answer calls or provide accurate information by directing callers to the proper parties.
  • 5-8 years of required customer service experience
  • You must have recent experience working in a hectic call center setting.


  1. Understanding and familiarity with the Hospital’s terms, services, staff, and procedures are essential.
  2. Excellent track record of punctual and consistent attendance
  3. The capacity to meet the position’s physical needs, sit for prolonged periods of time, speak and listen clearly, type for prolonged periods of time, and have outstanding eye and hand coordination.
