Within the multidisciplinary engineering team for NAV Canada Facility Systems and Infrastructure, this post offers a civil and/or structural engineering role. The architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems of more than 100 staffed facilities and 1000 unstaffed sites are the responsibility of the NAV Canada Facility Systems and Infrastructure division. This pertains to civil and structural systems, which may include but is not limited to manned and unmanned building structures, foundations, roofs, fences, civil works, roadways, parking lots, security gates, and air navigation surveillance/communication towers and shelters.

Job Overview:

Experience:

All Candidates should have Experience in Construction projects in their relevant fields.
Technical writing expertise is seen favorably.
Experience in the facilities management and/or construction industries with civil and/or structural engineering
An advantage would be having knowledge of multidisciplinary construction engineering, application engineering, and consultant engineering.

Eligibility:

All Candidates must have Qualifications relevant to their Jobs Designation in their relevant fields.
The capacity to do well with little guidance.
Understanding the theory and use of the fundamentals of civil and/or structural engineering
The National Master Specifications are familiar to you
Understanding of the laws and regulations that apply to the planning, building, operation, and maintenance of civil and/or structural systems at the federal, provincial, and local levels
Understanding of and practical experience with the following software programs:

AutoCad

Microsoft Office (Work, Outlook, Excel, Power Point)
